accept that impartial advice and fairness are important prerequisites in
developing a working relationship with clients. As such, we offer a warranty
subject to our conditions of business on all works illustrated on this site.

Should you have decided that you wish to proceed with the purchase of any work, we would invite you to complete the submission form. Confirmation of your purchase however, is not guaranteed until we have confirmed receipt of your payment. |
| Purchase Delivery |
| Deliveries within a 100km radius of Edinburgh will be arranged without charge. Purchases outwith this area can be arranged by Neil McRae. This will be handled by specialist UK Art transport companies that have a proven record in handling Fine Art. |
| Overseas Deliveries |
| Arrangements can be made to transport your purchases worldwide through our shippers who will arrange this on your behalf. For further information of this service, contact us at info@neilmcrae.com |
| Transit Insurance |
| For the safety of any purchase during transportation, we would strongly recommend that immediate insurance protection be taken to cover your purchase during shipment. |
| Gallery |
| At our gallery premises in Perthshire, we have on exhibition and available for purchase, a broad range of nineteenth and twentieth century British and European Art. The gallery is located within the premises at 125 High Street Auchterarder Perthshire. |
| Private Sales |
| We are always interested in the outright purchase of nineteenth and twentieth century British and European paintings and watercolours. All such enquiries will be handled in the strictest confidence with settlement complete within seven days. |
| Exhibtion Cataloque |

| Written Valuations |
| The preparation of a comprehensive document accurately cataloguing the contents of an art collection is an important responsibility for any individual or museum curator responsible for the collections management. We will identify the most appropriate format for your requirements and complete the document in the strictest confidence. The cost of the valuation is calculated at an agreed daily rate, and not subject to a percentage of the valuation total. We prepare written valuations for each of the following purposes: Inheritance Tax, Insurance, Discretionary Trust, Family Division, and Capital Gains Tax. |

| An important aspect of our business is to offer professional advice on the buying and selling of Fine Art. If you require impartial advice relating to the authenticity, condition or value of any works prior to their acquisition from an auction or retail source, we will be delighted to act as agent on your behalf. This facility allows for any purchasing to be carried out with complete anonymity and discretion. |

| Our principal partner, Neil McRae was a senior member of the picture department of Christie's who joined their British Art department in 1985, and became a director of the company in 1989. After ten years co-ordinating their Fine Art auctions in Scotland, he left the company to establish Neil McRae Fine Art. Since opening their gallery, he has negotiated many sales to provincial and national art collections including the National Galleries of Scotland. He is a picture expert for the acclaimed BBC Antiques Roadshow, and has made numerous broadcasts for independent radio programmes. |
